Fitbit Versa Lite review

If you are looking for a smartwatch and don’t want to pay a huge amount for it, then Fitbit’s Versa Lite can be a great choice for you.  Yes, the Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Ionic are little expensive than Lite version but Lite version comes with a good set of features too. It is not the cheapest smartwatch in the market- we know that- but it is a really great device. With good battery life, a comfortable design and affordable price, the Fitbit Versa Lite is a great wearable.

So, is it a worthy purchase seeing that it is only $50 cheap than Fitbit Verse? Let’sc heck it out in the Fitbit Verse Lite review below:

Design and Display

Fitbit Versa Lite is a very lightweight smartwatch and gets most of the essence of Fitbit Versa which is the premium version. The device gets the square look and it is really comfortable to wear around the wrist. Also, if you have smaller wrists, then also it looks glorious. It also looks good than the Fitbit Ionic when putting on hand. The watch is water resistant up to 50 meters but it is not designed for swimming pools. But, if you are stuck in rain with no umbrella, it will give no harm to your watch. You can buy this online using Paytm Mall Offers with great discount.

Coming to the display, the Fitbit Versa Lite packs a touchscreen display with a resolution of 300 x 300- same like Fitbit Versa. The display is very bright and clean. But, it is not as vibrant as the Apple Watch 4 or any other Wear OS devices. You get thick bezels around the display. Getting black watch will hide those bezels and you will love it. The display is not as responsive as Apple’s Watch 4 or Samsung’s Galaxy Watch.

On the left edge, you get a single button which will power on the watch and take you to the menus. The watch comes in four color variants: white, lilac, mulberry and marina blue.

Fitness

Just like Fitness Versa, this watch also comes with connected GPS. You get many top-end features from Fitbit Versa- especially Fitbit’s fitness tracker. The watch comes with Pure Pulse 24/7 heart rate tracker which is the accurate feature to track the user’s heart rate. The watch comes with features like guided breathing exercises, cardio fitness level, sleep monitoring, and female health tracking.

Features

Fitbit’s smartwatches OS isn’t as good as wear OS or watchOS but it is good. You get some third-party apps with the company’s own apps like Strava and The New York Times. You can get notifications on your smartwatch and can read them. You cannot reply to the texts from your app but only read them. On Android, you might be able to reply to some texts but this feature is limited. You can also download some watch faces to customize the watch. This smartwatch lacks features like contactless payments, you can’t upload the music on this watch too. So, if you are going to run without your phone, you might not be able to listen to songs. All of these features come with Fitbit Versa- contactless payments and loading music on the watch.

Performance

Talking about the interface, Fitbit Versa Lite doesn’t offer plenty of cheesy things to its users to play with. Just tap the screen or press the button on the left edge, the screen will turn on. Swipe right to find apps and navigate features. You get to see four apps per page which mean long scrolling for the last app. It is not the smoothest interface but it works well. The device’s performance is decent and apps load pretty fast. It doesn’t have any high-end features but still worth with these fitness features.

Battery life

With the Versa Lite, Fitbit claims that the watch can give you four days of battery life on a single charge. But, using it much won’t give you this much battery. Using it continuously in workouts will give you three days easily on a single charge. And, still, there are watches which don’t even give you one day of battery life. The Fitbit Versa also comes the same battery life which is really great. The charging is easy and the watch doesn’t support wireless charging. In terms of battery life various options available in market and one can avail those using Mobikwik Offers with great deals.

Final Verdict

The Fitbit Versa Lite comes at a really affordable price and is little cheaper than Fitbit Versa. Fitbit’s Versa is surely a better version than lite one. But, still, the lite version can save you $50 easily. Fitbit Versa Lite is a small watch which is comfortable around the wrist too. The device comes with great battery life plus comes at an affordable price too. So, if you can survive without Fitbit Pay, on-screen workouts or music on your watch, then you can consider buying Fitbit Versa Lite instead of Fitbit Versa.
