1. Las Pozas, Xilitla, Mexico
Las Pozas (the Pools) incorporates man-made structures with outlandish blooms, local plants, waterfalls and pools to make a peculiarly congruous, and tranquil garden. The gardens are the creation of whimsical English writer and craftsman Edward James, who purchased the 80-acre piece of land, in the mid-1940s, trying to make his own particular Garden of Eden. Somewhere around 1949 and 1984, James constructed a total of 36 strange solid models and structures on the site with unusual and intrigue inducing names, such as, the House with a Roof like a Whale, and the Staircase to Heaven.
2. The Garden of Cosmic Speculation, Scotland
This garden is open to the general population once a year. It takes science and maths as its motivation. Simply, there isn’t another greenery enclosure like it on the planet. It was set up in 1989 without the standard thoughts individuals have when they are setting up a garden. Agricultural exhibits particularly take second place in this garden. Rather, it is designed with a different mindset, and to incite thoughts about how things work in nature.
3. Forestiere Underground Gardens, California, USA
Forestiere Underground Gardens are the creation of Sicilian immigrant Baldassare Forestiere, who assembled the garden more than 40 years back from 1906 until his demise in 1946. Enlivened by a youth interest with the mausoleums in Rome, Forestiere built the Underground Garden as a departure from the burning Fresno summer. Today a recorded California Historical Landmark, the three-level underground structure is a system of rooms and paths and elements a summer and winter room, kitchen, fish pond, a lounge complete with chimney, and a few underground gardens. Most of the plants here are more than 100 years old.
4. Keukenhof Gardens, Netherlands
An extraordinary abundance of stupendous botanical presentations planted in unlimited assortments, embellished with lovely show-stoppers, Keukenhof is exceptional, world renowned and has been a standout amongst the most well known destinations in the Netherlands. The greenery enclosure is home to 7 million tulips, which incorporates rare hybrids that have been or are being produced.
5. Rock Garden, Chandigarh, India
In the making of the Rock Garden, city’s garbage was transformed into treasure. Public servant Nek Chand started making his artful culmination in 1957 from the waste mechanical and home trash he gathered from demolished sites across Chandigarh.
